Roost designed the Morandi Collection of ceramics and glassware with a Bauhaus sensibility in mind. Each piece in the collection is shaped with minimal, clean architectural lines. Stoneware formed from iron-rich clay receives a creamy translucent glaze that exhibits a light dusting of iron flecks caused by the artful interaction of the glaze and clay. For contrast, the exterior of each piece is left partially unglazed; the interior is fully glazed and watertight. The collection includes a broad selection of especially memorable everyday items.
